Ed Lehrburger

One of three company founders, Ed is President, CEO
and Board Chairman.

Ed is the longest standing CEO within the cellulosic biorefining industry. He graduated from Western State University of Colorado with a business degree in 1978. Prior to co-founding PureVision, Ed was a majority owner and chief financial officer of a nationwide, commercial finance company based in Livingston, NJ. Mr. Lehrburger’s primary focus is to commercialize the company’s unique CCR technology for the pulp & paper, chemicals and fuels industry .

Carl Lehrburger

Co-founder, Chief Operations Officer, Corporate Secretary and Board Director

Carl brings over 40 years of executive and managerial experience to PureVision in renewables, waste management and recycling. Carl graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1974 and was the first Director of the University of Colorado Environmental Center. Prior to founding PureVision in 1992, he was manager of recycling at Energy Answers Corporation, Albany, NY. He has completed environmental assessments and waste management studies for private clients, trade associations, state and federal agencies. Bear & Co publishes his first book, Secrets of Ancient America, in 2015.

Harry Cullinan Ph.D.

Member of PureVision’s Technical Advisory Board

Dr. Cullinan was Director of the Alabama Center for Paper and Bioresource Engineering at Auburn University where he focused on research and education programs for the pulp and paper industry, alternative fuels and biorefining. Dr. Cullinan also was a Professor of Chemical Engineering at Auburn. Previous positions include Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering at SUNY-Buffalo, Vice President of the Institute of Paper Chemistry in Appleton, WI, and Professor –Director of the Australian Pulp and Paper Institute at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Cullinan served on the Chief Technology Officers Committee of Agenda 2020 and the Board of Directors of the Auburn Pulp and Paper Foundation. He has also served on the Board of Directors of a number of organizations, including TAPPI and PIMA. Cullinan is a TAPPI Fellow and the recipient of TAPPI's Distinguished Service Award. During 2009, Dr. Cullinan was inducted into the Paper Industry International Hall of Fame.

The experienced PureVision Team also includes Process Chemists, Process and Mechanical Engineers, Lab Technicians, a Safety Officer, and Director of Human Resources and Administration.

The Alabama Center for Paper & Bioresource Engineering at Auburn University (AU) has also been retained to assist with the commercialization of the CCR technology. AU has been a PureVision strategic partner for over ten years advancing CCR-based initiatives.

Martha Karnopp, a well-educated and trained attorney, Martha joined the PureVision Board in 2022. She graduated from the University of Wyoming with a law degree with honors in 1974.
