Business Advisory Board
PureVision has established a Business Advisory Board (BAB) comprised of experienced individuals who contribute a wide range of expertise in the broad area of business development. The BAB provides PureVision’s senior management team with important insights, knowledge and experience with a focus on advancing the company’s front-end technology toward commercialization.The following individuals make up the PureVision Business Advisory Board:
Dr. Daniel Perlman, M.D., M.B.A.BAB Chairman, Dr. Perlman advises start-up technology companies and is the chairman of PureVision’s Business Advisory Board. Dr. Perlman was the founder and manager of a successful Denver-based company for eight years comprised of a group of doctors specializing in internal medicine. His academic credentials include an Executive MBA from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver, a Master’s Degree from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, and a Medical Degree from University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Perlman currently sits on several boards, and is active in the Colorado BioScience Association.
Dr. Richard NakashimaDr. Nakashima received his Ph.D. in Medical Science (Pharmacology) from the Medical College of Ohio. After post-doctoral work in cancer cell metabolism and protein chemistry at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Dr. Nakashima was an Assistant Professor of Biochemistry at Texas Tech University. Dr. Nakashima later obtained his juris doctorate and has worked as a patent attorney for the last 13 years. He is currently the Vice President for Intellectual Property at Immunomedics, Inc. Dr. Nakashima has worked extensively with start-up companies, with a special interest in high-tech companies in the biofuels industry.
Peter OatmanMr. Oatman has over 25 years of experience in the energy efficiency and renewables industries and is currently the Managing Member of Baja Renewable Energy LLC, an international renewable energy project development company. Mr. Oatman has served on the senior management team of three different energy project development companies in both national and international markets with two of those companies going public. He also helped raise the CleanTech Fund, a $25 million private equity fund focused on clean energy investments in Latin America. Mr. Oatman served for five years as the Senior Consultant to the State of Colorado Office for Energy Management and Conservation. Mr. Oatman has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Colorado College and a Master of Engineering from the University of Colorado in Energy Engineering and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado.
