David Juszczyk Joins PureVision as VP of Business Development
August 5, 2009Fort Lupton CO. PureVision Technology, Inc. (PureVision), a technology development company scaling up advanced biorefining processes announced the hiring of David Juszczyk as PureVision’s Vice President of Business Development.
“We are very happy to have David on board to direct business development activities for PureVision,” said Ed Lehrburger, President. “As our technology scale-up proceeds toward commercializing second-generation biofuels equipment, PureVision will be well served by David’s successful financing and management experience. He will also be involved in managing the IT department, a critical area for our growing company where David has a proven track record,” he said.
David Juszczyk comes to PureVision after 11 years at Neoforma (later acquired by GHX). At Neoforma, David was the 6th employee in the initial startup phase and had responsibility for all technical functions for the first two years of business including product development, IT infrastructure and data center operations. He held positions from Vice President of Product Development to Executive Director of Business Intelligence. While at Neoforma he was responsible for development of all technical materials for two rounds of financing and the IPO in 2000.
Prior to Neoforma, David held positions as Vice President of Business Development at SearchCafe, a search and middleware web business; and Vice President of Web Solutions at CAM Systems, a data management company servicing the cable television industry. During his career, he has been responsible for negotiating contracts that have brought over 3/4 billion dollars in revenue to companies he was with.
PureVision is a privately held Colorado corporation headquartered in Fort Lupton, Colorado. PureVision is scaling up a patented biorefinery technology to transform many different types of cellulosic biomass into higher value products including second-generation biofuels like cellulosic ethanol. The company recently completed the installation of a ½-ton per day capacity continuous pilot plant at their Fort Lupton CO headquarters and is working with many companies to scale up the technology for biofuels applications.

David holds a BSIT from Colorado State University and has completed extensive graduate work in engineering management at Stanford University.
