PureVision Establishes Business and Technical Advisory Boards

September 18, 2009
During the third quarter of 2009, PureVision Technology, Inc. has established a Business Advisory Board and a Technical Advisory Board, comprised of seasoned individuals with a wide range of expertise. The creation of both boards has been in the works for over a year. With the formalities out of the way, these two boards have now been formed.

Dr. Dan Perlman, who has received an Executive MBA from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver, a Master’s Degree from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health, and a Medical Degree from University of Maryland School of Medicine and is an experienced entrepreneur, is the acting chairman of the PureVision Business Advisory Board. “After learning about many of the opportunities PureVision has, we have concluded the Business Advisory Board is exactly what the company’s senior management needs as far as capitalizing on these opportunities. I know our board will be able to provide a great deal of sound advice and recommendations as PureVision transitions from an R&D company to a provider of technology and equipment in the emerging biorefining industry,” stated Dr. Perlman.

Other members of the Business Advisory Board include Richard Nakashima, Ph. D., an experienced patent attorney and Mr. Peter Oatman, an active engineer and entrepreneur who has been involved in the renewable energy industry for over 25 years. The Business Advisory Board has had two meetings during the third quarter of 2009. There is at least one other person who is expected to join the company’s Business Advisory Board during the last quarter of 2009.

The PureVision Technical Advisory Board has been established to provide the company’s senior management team with important insights, knowledge, advice and experience with a focus on advancing the company’s front-end cellulosic biorefining technology toward commercialization. Don Cha, Ph.D., who has received his J.D. in Law at Temple U., a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry at MIT, and who is a seasoned patent attorney, is the acting chairman of the Technical Advisory Board. There are five other Technical Advisory Board members who will come together for the first scheduled meeting set for the third week of September.

PureVision’s President, Ed Lehrburger stated, “Our company’s business and technical directions are sure to benefit from the opportunity to tap the additional resources these experienced and knowledgeable board members bring to the PureVision team.”
